ROOM ASSIGNMENT: March 2019 LET Teachers Board Exam

MANILA, Philippines - The room assignments for March 2019 LET or Licensure Exam for Teachers (Elementary and Secondary levels) are expected to be released by Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) Board of Professional Teachers few weeks before the licensure exam.

The board exam is scheduled to take place on March 24, 2019 at PRC testing centers in Manila; Zamboanga; Bacolod; Rosales, Pangasinan; Laoag; General Santos City; and all Regional Offices nationwide.

LET are among the programs with huge number of examinees being administered by PRC. On the most recent LET conducted on September 2018, 18,409 elementary teachers out of 90,750 examinees (20.29%) and 60,803 secondary teachers out of 126,582 examinees (48.03%) successfully passed.

DRESS CODE

Examinees shall adhere to the attire set by the Professional Regulation Commission.

For male examinees, plain white polo shirt with collar without any seal, logo or marks partnered with decent pants or slacks. For female, plain white blouse or shirt with collar without any seal, logo or marks partnered with skirt or slacks. 

EXAMINATION REMINDERS

As posted by PRC, examinees shall bring the following requirements on examination proper. The Notice of Admission (NOA), Official Receipt of Payment, Pencils No. 1 or 2/ Black ink ballpen, metered stamped mailing envelope, long brown and plastic/transparent envelopes and non-programmable calculator.

PRC reminds examinees to report before 6:30 in the morning on the said date because late comers will not be admitted, examination fees for late examinees will also be forfeited.

Examinees are advised to verify their application number on the day of examination from room watchers/proctors assigned to the room.

The following are not allowed inside the examination premises: books, notes, review materials and other printed materials containing formula, among others; cellphones and similar gadgets; bags of any kind; and programmable calculators.

Examinees are not allowed to leave the examination room, borrow anything and communicate with co-examinees during the length of the exam.

Meanwhile, examinees are allowed to bring and eat their food inside the examination room.
