President Rodrigo Duterte declared Public Health Emergency
all throughout the Philippines due to the COVID-19. He directed all agencies to
implement critical measures to contain this said virus.
Due to this declaration and dilemma that the whole world is
facing, several information is now circulating online about the possible
postponement of March 2020 Licensure Examination for Teachers.
Many of the examinees are now asking updates if the exam
will push through or not.
The Philippine Regulation Commission (PRC) in an inquiry did
not confirm or denied the legitimacy of the information that is now circulating
online. They have said that we need to wait for the official statement of the
PRC with regards to this matter.
Pursuant to Presidential Proclamation No. 922 dated 8 March 2020 declaring a state of public health emergency throughout the country, and the recommendations of the Department of Health (DOH) and Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Disease (IATF) to prohibit mass gatherings, and to further ensure the safety of the examinees and employees of the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC), the conduct of the following licensure examinations/assessments is hereby CANCELLED:
