Techniques To Help You Maximize Your Passing Potentials




1. TIME – MANAGE YOUR TEST. Most tests give you more than enough time to complete it. Calculate the average time granted to your per question by dividing the time allotted by the number of questions. Don’t get bogged down on any one question If you have to read a question more than twice to know what it is asking, mark and Leave it and move on to the next. Once you are done with the entire examination, check your time and go back to those you left unanswered. Again, Spend up to no more than the time per question allotted.

2. Answer all the easy questions first, then, tackle the hard ones.



3. Eliminate as many wrong answers as you can. Deciding between two choices is easier than deciding among five. The LET is formatted in multiple choice type of questions.



4. Try lining up your test booklet with your answer sheet for answering efficiency.



5. Change answer only if you have a reason of doing so.




6. Make sure you are answering the questions asked and not one that may have to reminded you of or the one you thought was going to be asked.



7. Mark questions you want to take a second look at; circle ones you have to skip, that way you’ll be able to locate them quickly at the end of the section. You can and should do your math computation in the test booklet. ( For Specialization part)



8. Be careful not to make any stray marks on your answer sheet as the test is graded by the machine.



9. Check frequently to make sure you are answering the questions in the right spot. Right answers n wrong places results in test failures.



10. You are not to answer every question to do well. Studies show that you can come out with an average or slightly higher if you answer 40 – 60% correctly.
